• We booked a family tour with Donald and his super comfortable minivan. It was personalized to include the Talisker Distillery and the Fairy Pools as well as a guided drive around the island. He was so friendly and knew so much about Scotland, he made every effort to make sure we saw everything we wanted to, and that we were comfortable with plenty rest room stops. Skye has always been my family’s dream destination and we just loved our tour. We sampled a wee dram in the distillery, had a lovely lunch at the Sligichan Hotel and ended the afternoon with a visit to the beautiful Fairy Pools. Donald is just terrific, nothing was too much trouble, he was friendly and chatty but also so professional. His driving was excellent, and there were some real challenging roads! We’ll be back. • We were lucky enough to join Donald on his Gairloch tour last summer. We particularly enjoyed our visit to the beautiful Inverewe Gardens and were blessed with blue skies! The tour then takes in the newly opened Gairloch Musuem, (highly recommended!) and finished with a marvellous shellfish lunch at the Badachro Inn, sat outside in the water’s edge on a warns summers afternoon! Truly heaven! However, what we enjoyed most on our tour was Donald’s company! He strikes the perfect balance of amusing anecdotes and warm conversation, whilst still allowing us the time and space to enjoy the tour together! He is the human embodiment of Highland Hospitality! Highly recommend a day in his company.

• During our stay in Torridon we wanted to take a trip to Applecross. Donald picked us up at the door and we had a very comfortable journey stopping to look at the views on the way. He was good company and very informative about the local area. We stopped at the top of Beal Ach Na Ba and the views were spectacular! We felt very safe driving with Donald and the best part was arriving at the Applecross Inn where we enjoyed a bit of shopping and a lovely lunch. Nothing was too much trouble for him, especially as we were a bus full of ladies that needed a few stops along the way!! Thank you Donald, we will definitely be back!
