Applecross is a beautiful Peninsula in the North West Highlands of Scotland.
The tour begins with an epic drive over the legendary Beallach na Ba (The Pass of the Cattle in Scottish Gaelic). Rising to 2054ft from sea level it is the steepest ascent of any road climb in the UK. From the top you will be treated to stunning views of the Isle of Skye to the West and the majestic Torridon mountains to the East.
The road will then wind down to the village of Applecross itself where we can pay a visit to Applecross Photographic Gallery which boasts a stunning collection of images from Scotlands North West coast by Jack Marris. We will then pop into Applecross Aromatics where you will find fine Scottish soaps and natural body products which are handmade in Applecross.
